Village Video was formed as a TV and FM aerial installation company in 1988 by the current proprietors, Les & Elsie Hampson. We are based in Great Horwood, a small village between Buckingham and Milton Keynes.

We now offer a complete service from small domestic work to large commercial systems in hotels and flats, etc. All our engineers are qualified and have several years’ experience in the aerial and satellite trade. We also have City and Guilds qualifications for the design and installation of large multi-point systems including Master Antenna Television (MATV), Satellite Master Antenna Television (SMATV) and Integrated Reception Systems (IRS).

As members of The Confederation of Aerial Industries Ltd (CAI) we are in the position to give double guarantees on all our domestic installations. In short, in the unlikely event that we should cease trading the CAI will honour our guarantee. Membership has other benefits to the consumer; we are regularly inspected for quality of work and administration and have a strict code of practice to abide by. This means that you, the consumer, will receive an excellent standard of workmanship with quality materials at a fair price. All CAI members must also carry a public and product liability insurance of at least £2million. In 1996 we were ‘CAI Terrestrial Installer of the Year’ and a finalist in the ASTRA ‘Discrete Dish Installations’ in 1998 and 2002.

We are authorised agents for Sky Digital and as such can offer subsidised equipment. You do not have to go to Sky to get the deals. We, as an independent, can supply and install all the equipment required, giving you the peace of mind that a good job is going to be done. In the unlikely event of something going wrong you will know that you can talk to the same person who took your original order and who knows what your installation involved. We can also supply set top boxes for Digital Terrestrial Reception from leading manufacturers such as Pace and Nokia.
